Asus – the Taiwanese firm announced a number of powerful and solid laptops at the event of Computex 2017. The Asus VivoBook S (S510) is also included in the newly announced laptops, meaning this was also announced at Computex. The main highlight of the newly arrived laptop is that it has a seventh generation Intel processor and runs on Windows 10. The laptop looks like the Mackbook Air, meaning it has a slim bezels and sleek design.

The laptop features a 15.6 Full HD display which carries the support for 1920 × 1280 pixels resolution and viewing angle of up to 178-degree. The laptop comes with thin bezels on the display; the company describes it as a NanoEdge display.

With the NanoEdge bezels, the laptop provides you an impressive 80 percent screen-to-body ratio. The company more described the NanoEdge display as, by using this technology in VivoBook S makes it able to fit a full-size 15.6 inch display into a 14-inch laptop frame.

The new portable Asus VivoBook S runs on the latest Windows 10 Home operating system and it is powered by the seventh generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor. The laptop is equipped with 8GB of DDR4 RAM along with 1TB of HDD storage capacity.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the laptop comes with the USB 3.1 Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, a HDMI port, and headphone jack as well. To power the laptop, there is a 42 WHrs rated 3SIP, 3 cells Li-ion battery. The company claims that the battery will provide you 60 percent charge in just 49 minutes.
